NEW Shuffleboard is a fun, easy, quick game that can be challenging, strategic, and competitive for all ages. Start with the basics of play, rules, and scoring then develop strategies for competitive play. All equipment is provided.  

Deepen your connection with nature with a leisurely hike on the wooded trails in Skunk Hollow Park, next to the Willows. Enjoy autumn's colors while learning about how and why leaves change color in the fall, why some leaves hang on all winter long, and which leaves adorn which tree species.

Experience forest bathing on a gentle guided walk designed to calm and restore body and mind. Engage your senses to deepen connection with nature and gain fresh perspective. Conclude with tea and a light snack. Suitable for all levels.

NEW Who’s daring enough to explore the moonlit trails? Join us as we bravely trek a section of trail steeped in urban legends and paranormal mysteries. Listen to spooky stories (family friendly) along the way as dusk falls and the nighttime creeps into the woods. The trail is mostly moderate in elevation (approximately 2-3 miles).Come out—if you dare—for a funfilled(and spooky) night adventure.

There are over 50 species of tree at The Willows Park and Skunk Hollow. Learn how to identify the various tree species in these parks by examining their bark, buds, branches, fruits, nuts, seeds and cones.

NEW Nature Therapy classes, held in a peaceful park setting, combine quiet nature walks, breathing techniques, immersive listening and sights of nature. Form a deep connection with nature while exploring a different theme (such as sight or smell) each week. We'll begin seated in the grass with guided breathing exercises, take a slow walk, then return to sitting for reflection time.

NEW Nordic Walking is outdoor fitness walking with specially designed poles. This aerobic sport of vigorous walking is intended to improve cardiovascular efficiency, control weight and reduce stress. Students will receive technical instruction prior to the walk and then take a brisk walk for approximately 5 miles on small hills and rocky dirt trails. Solid level of cardio and walking fitness required. Poles are provided.
