Whether you are an experienced writer or new to the craft, we welcome you! Our supportive group will experiment with forms (including cinquain, tanka and villanelle) and different approaches to revision. Class is co-taught by Katherine Barham.

Bring your stories to life, starting with a reading of your work, and with the aid of feedback on how others understand what you’ve written. Teacher and class commentary become tools to better see your own written work. Bring curiosity, perception, bravery, empathy and a piece of writing to be read.

Mr. Newman has been a 30-year consultant to the Pennsylvania Bar Association, coaching attorneys (and sometimes priests and candidates) in the construction and delivery of a story.
