NEW Nature Therapy classes, held in a peaceful park setting, combine quiet nature walks, breathing techniques, immersive listening and sights of nature. Form a deep connection with nature while exploring a different theme (such as sight or smell) each week. We'll begin seated in the grass with guided breathing exercises, take a slow walk, then return to sitting for reflection time.

Learn the tips to make delicious GF baked goods! We will make Chocolate Chip and Lemon Blueberry Loaves and discuss tips for muffins and cakes too. Taste in class and leave with a sample. Every precaution will be taken to avoid cross contamination, but we will not be baking in a dedicated GF kitchen.

Introduction to Nordic Walking (SP61029)

NEW Nordic Walking is outdoor fitness walking with specially designed poles. This aerobic sport of vigorous walking is intended to improve cardiovascular efficiency, control weight and reduce stress. Students will receive technical instruction prior to the walk and then take a brisk walk for approximately 5 miles on small hills and rocky dirt trails. Solid level of cardio and walking fitness required. Poles are provided.
